If you're looking for a good book to read, you'll get a good indication when one of the world's most prestigious prizes for fiction is announced on Wednesday morning. The Man Booker Prize is awarded each year for the best original work of fiction. Previously a competition for Commonwealth authors, eligibility was controversially expanded in 2014 to allow any novel written in English as long as it is published in the UK.
