Air taxis may be heading for NZ skies
Flying to work and beating the traffic might become reality if autonomous electric air taxis come to New Zealand skies. That's the plan of a joint venture between Air New Zealand and the aviation company Zephyr Airworks. The pilot-less aircraft will instead be directed by software, flying passengers across the sky at speeds of up to 150km/h. Anna Kominik is the country director for Zephyr Airworks. She talks to Susie Ferguson.
