Truck engineer speaks out on vehicle inspection failings

A truck engineer under investigation by Transport officials has spoken out about what he says is a host of failings across the vehicle inspection industry. Patrick Chu of Auckland is one of four certifiers suspended as investigations into the vehicle inspection industry spread. But he's hit back at the agency's own serious regulatory failings, which are only slowly coming to light.
