A ban on new offshore oil and gas permits passed into law on Wednesday night. The Crown Minerals Amendment Act was voted-in 63 to 55 in Parliament after the government surprised the sector by announcing a ban in March. Guyon Espiner talks to Minister of Energy and Resources, Megan Woods.
