Dome Valley or 'Dump Valley': Locals fight landfill plan

A small community in the very north of Auckland is preparing for battle against an international company that wants to build a huge rubbish tip. Waste Management is 80 percent owned by the Chinese government and has got Overseas Investment Office approval to buy land in the Dome Valley, 70 kilometres north of central Auckland, for a landfill. But shocked locals say they don't want their beautiful home turned into a dangerous dump. Rowan Quinn's been to a meeting in Wellsford this weekend to hear what they had to say.
