'We can't magic up teachers overnight' - Chris Hipkins

From Morning Report, 8:10 am on 12 November 2018

Education Minister Chris Hipkins says they did everything possible to stop the teacher strikes going ahead today. That's despite a new $700 million pay offer from the Ministry of Education lodged just last Thursday. RNZ reporter Katie Scotcher spoke to the principal of Newton Central Primary Riki Teteina, and teacher Kim Hinkins who were at a rally on Monday morning in central Auckland.
