Hastings fires overnight appear linked

Three separate fires in Hastings on Sunday night, including one at the Hawke's Bay Opera House, appear to be linked and are being treated as suspicious. The Senior station officer at the Hastings Fire Station, Mike Peachy, says about 30 firefighters worked on putting out the blaze at the Opera House. He says although the fire itself was quite small, the area was smoke logged and it took a while to locate the fire. RNZ Hawke's Bay reporter Anusha Bradley is at the scene.
