Napier teen on trial over death of homeless man

"I stabbed him...run." The High Court in Napier has been told those are the words 14-year-old Haami Hanara uttered to a witness, immediately after they got into a fight with a homeless man. The teenage boy is accused of murdering 40 year old Kelly Donner in March, after what the Crown says was a fight over a torch. The boy has admitted robbing the man, but denies killing him. Our Hawke's Bay reporter Anusha Bradley has been following the trial and filed this report.
