NZTA out of touch - repair certifiers association boss

The Head of the Repair Certifiers Association says the Transport Agency is out of touch with the vehicle industry. The Agency has apologised for failing to enforce safety rules in many inspection areas, including warrants of fitness for cars. Head of the association Tony McHugh told our reporter Katie Scotcher the vehicle industry has been left unsupported for years.
