Canterbury shooting: 'We're a resilient community' - principal

The principal of Darfield Highschool says some students are feeling unsafe after Sunday's fatal shooting. On Sunday, 56-year-old local man, Donald Ineson fired shots at his family before running down a police officer in his car. Mr Ineson was shot at by police before being found dead in his car. The police won't say whether they fired the shot that killed Mr Ineson. Darfield High School's Principal is James Morris has confirmed the pupils at his school are related to the dead man.
