NZ travel agents lodge complaint against Trivago

The hotel booking website Trivago has admitted that it has been misleading consumers with its advertising. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has taken a successful case against Trivago for actions that included falsely claiming that advertised hotel deals were the best price. The Travel Agents Association of New Zealand has lodged its own complaints with the Commerce Commission. Its chief executive is Andrew Olsen.
