Gerry Brownlee discusses Opposition walk-out

The National Party staged a mass exodus from Parliament on Wednesday after the Speaker ejected Simon Bridges from the house for his questioning of the Prime Minister on Karel Sroubek. It's hard to hear but the Speaker Trevor Mallard stands to interrupt Mr Bridges, prompting the Leader of the Opposition to say off-mic: "Here comes the protection". The Shadow Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee was also told to leave for saying Mr Bridges comment had "struck a raw nerve". Mr Brownlee talks to Guyon Espiner.
