Swim or stay out - Auckland beach quality monitor refined

Aucklanders will no longer be told if the beach their swimming at this summer has marginal water quality. Safeswim's website flags pollution at beaches with traffic light icons but now the amber signal is gone, leaving just green and red. Only beaches that fail national water quality guidelines for swimming are given the red icon. Amy Williams has the story.
