Henare at odds with Jackson over Whānau Ora payments

From Morning Report, 7:46 am on 7 December 2018

The Minister of Whānau Ora, Peeni Henare, says he'd be disappointed if a $600,000 dividend paid to the National Urban Māori Authority doesn't get spent on improving services. The Minister has been at odds with fellow Labour MP Willie Jackson, a former leader of the Manukau Urban Maori Authority, over the surplus. Mr Henare will meet officials from the Whānau Ora commissioning agency Te Pou Matana today to discuss the dividend they paid out and says he wants to know how it will be spent.
