Free Speech Coalition not impressed by Massey review

The Free Speech Coalition is criticising an independent review that backs Massey University's decision to cancel an event involving former politician Don Brash earlier this year. The review - by consulting firm Martin Jenkins - concludes the University's vice-chancellor, Jan Thomas, cancelled the event because of security fears and not because of concerns about Dr Brash's views. No one from the University wanted to discuss the report this morning but we can talk now to a member of the Free Speech Coalition, lawyer and former Act MP Stephen Franks.
