'Work to do' on human rights, violence in NZ - Little

New Zealand's human rights record came under scrutiny overnight at the United Nations. Delegates repeatedly questioned the high rates of domestic violence, the increasing number of New Zealanders in prisons, and the unequal treatment of Maori. Brazil, Slovakia and Saudi Arabia will be responsible for preparing a report on New Zealand's human rights record. The Justice Minister Andrew Little led the New Zealand delegation. He talks to Guyon Espiner from Geneva. He also discusses the case of a judge who has ordered a woman to pay her alleged abuser $28,000 despite finding it "likely" he assaulted and falsely imprisoned her in the 1980s.
