West Coast NZ's only council to reject govt carbon target

The West Coast Regional Council has chosen not to support the government's Zero Carbon Bill, making it the only regional council in the country to reject it. The council says if West Coasters are to commit to emissions targets, the evidence proving climate change must be presented and proven beyond reasonable doubt.
