Te reo Māori slates acknowledged at Waitangi

Two slates with the very first example of written Te reo Māori etched on them were shown to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern at New Zealand's oldest building, Kemp House in Kerikeri. A ceremony was held to acknowledge the mana of the taonga and also their inclusion on UNESCO's Memory of the World heritage documentary register. RNZ reporter Andrew McRae was at the ceremony.
