Woman's surgery delayed by homelessness

A Lower Hutt woman who needs surgery for a debilitating spinal injury can't get it - because she doesn't have a home to go to afterwards. Vanessa is a single mother who's been in emergency housing for a year because there's nowhere for her and her boys to go. She's been on the social housing list that whole time, and every week goes to at least five flat viewings. She told our reporter Laura Dooney her situation is an absolute nightmare.
