Marlborough Sounds ecologists, fishers open nature reserve

From Morning Report, 8:53 am on 13 February 2019

A Marlborough Sounds conservation group and fishing company have put aside their differences to open a native wildlife attraction. King Salmon has partnered with the Tui Nature Reserve Wildlife Trust six years after falling out over the environmental risks of salmon farms and as the salmon company eyes up its most audacious project yet. Their Koru Native Wildlife Centre will run breeding programs for Giant Weta and Yellow Crowned Kakariki, and host community education programs and group tours.
