Dame Jenny Shipley is denying she wrote an article in the "People's Daily" in China which compliments China's reforms and its belt and road initiative. The article is headlined "We need to learn listen to China" and says it was written by the former prime minister. But Dame Jenny says it was based on an interview she gave to the Communist Party-run newspaper in December and she did not write the opinion piece published this week. Guyon Espiner speaks to China specialist Professor Anne-Marie Brady.
