Computer chips answer kauri dieback questions

Tiny computer chips are helping scientists understand a disease that is threatening kauri with extinction - and hopefully stop its spread. Researchers working in the laboratory are measuring how kauri dieback and myrtle rust penetrate the plants' defences and have found these organisms pack a punch.
