Fourth junior doctor strike goes ahead
Junior doctors are walking off the job in public hospitals again, for a fourth two-day strike. They're members of the Resident Doctors Union, or RDA, which is refusing to agree to proposed changes to the doctors' employment contract with district health boards. Dr Kathryn Foster works at Auckland DHB and is striking. But not all junior doctors are - including Dr Richard Storey of Wellington. Dr Foster and Dr Storey speak to Philippa Tolley.
