Australian public told of top cardinal's child abuse

Australia has learned Catholic Cardinal George Pell sexually abused against two choirboys in the 1990s, after a suppression order was lifted. Pell, dubbed the Vatican's "third in command", is the highest ranking Catholic ever to be convicted of sexual abuse. News of his conviction was suppressed in Australia to ensure Pell could receive a fair trial on yet more sex abuse charges against boys. That second trial was cancelled on Tuesday, so the suppression order on the initial conviction was lifted. Our correspondent in Canberra Kerry-Anne Walsh speaks to Susie Ferguson.
