Most of latest Tasman evacuees allowed to return home

Most residents who had to evacuate their homes in Tasman's Redwood Valley when fire broke out on Wednesday were able to return to their own beds last night. The evacuation of 81 homes came three weeks after they were forced out because of the massive fire that burned for several days. Ben Durrant had to leave in such a hurry he didn't have time to grab a tee shirt, and was just wearing his shorts when police turned up at his home and told him to go. He had had just got back on Wednesday night when our reporter Katie Scotcher caught up with him.
