'Toxic' new drugs in NZ easy to buy online - scientists

Scientists from the Institute of Environmental Science and Research have identified more than 130 new types of illicit drugs entering the country between 2014 and 2018. ESR's Cameron Johnson says they are similar to traditional drugs such as ecstasy and methamphetamine, but the chemical structures have been modified to create a new drug. He says the new drugs are potent and toxic.
