Queenstown council votes on Laurel Hills development

A council vote on a controversial Queenstown housing development is expected today. The Laurel Hills proposal involves 156 homes being built on nine point four hectares 9.4ha of land along Ladies Mile. Despite 300 submissions opposing the project, Queenstown Lakes District Council staff have recommended the plan be approved. It has fired up many residents of Shotover Country and Lake Hayes Estate.
