Drysdale looks at rowing for Fiji in bid to get to Olympics

From Morning Report, 7:20 am on 8 March 2019

New Zealand's two-time Olympic rowing champion Mahe Drysdale is considering switching allegiance to Fiji in a bid to get to the Tokyo Olympics. Drysdale has missed out on the New Zealand single scull berth for this year's international season with Robbie Manson selected after beating Drysdale in two recent races. Rowing New Zealand may allow him to compete at World Cup regattas in the single scull, but Drysdale tells sports editor Stephen Hewson if he doesn't get the okay to do that he may look elsewhere.
