Police respond to questions over road policing commitment

Are the police taking road policing seriously enough? On Thursday, we brought you the story of police managers being questioned by their own staff about how serious they are when it comes to road policing and the road toll. The Police Association says road police shouldn't be pulled away from their job to attend other crimes when the road toll is so high. Sandra Venables is the police's Assistant Commissioner Road Policing and Prevention, and speaks to Gyles Beckford.
