Former Prime Minister Helen Clark believes New Zealand-born jihadi brides should be allowed to return here from Syria. Miss Clark has previously publicly supported a return to the UK for British teenager Shamima Begum who ran away to join the Islamic State group. When I spoke to her this morning from Afghanistan - where she's travelling with World Vision - she said New Zealand had a responsibility to all its citizens - and they in-turn had to accept the consequences of breaking the law.
