Australian politicians stoking Islamaphobia - Muslim chaplain

From Morning Report, 6:44 am on 21 March 2019

A Muslim chaplain from Sydney, who's travelled to Christchurch to help with funeral arrangements, blames Australian politicians for stoking the hatred that led to Friday's attacks. Australian Senator Fraser Anning is refusing to back down from blaming the shootings on Muslim immigration. Chaplain Ahmed Kilani is a disaster recovery volunteer with Aus Aid who travelled to Christchurch on Monday to help his fellow Muslims. He has been counselling the wounded and the families of the dead and he told Christchurch reporter Conan Young there is a lot of trauma and a lot of healing that needs to happen.
