Provincial Growth Fund: Special treatment for Northland?

Almost a year after the launch of the Provincial Growth Fund the government has spent well over $100 million in Northland. The $3 billion fund was negotiated by NZ First as part of its coalition deal with Labour.

Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones and Winston Peters have been making regular appearances on their home turf to distribute the pūtea (funds).
