Youth worker worried about euthanasia bill's impact on suicide

A nurse and therapist specialising in youth suicide is concerned not enough is known about how assisted dying may effect vulnerable youth. The End of Life Choice Bill allows for people in unbearable suffering or with an incurable, grievous condition to ask a doctor to help end their life. Its author, ACT leader David Seymour, says if it passes its second reading later next month, he will restrict it to cover only people with six months to live. But critics say the bill could still have serious unintended consequences. Emma Hatton reports.
