Drug-resistant superbug will reach NZ, experts warn

Medical experts are warning a drug resistant superbug that kills one-third of all infected patients will inevitably spread to New Zealand. A Professor of Public Health at Otago University, Michael Baker, says Candida auris causes invasive infections and cannot be treated with normal anti-fungal medication. He says it's only a matter of time before Candida auris gets here, and when it does, it may cause serious problems.
