Far-right extremists need same scrutiny as IS supects - Anjum Rahman

Back to our top story that new brands of far right political groups and ideology are set to gain ground and be harder to detect. An RNZ investigation into New Zealand's extreme right has found a sprinkling of small movements with few members on the fringes of political activity. The old-style neo-nazi and fascist groups are being replaced by more sophisticated, internet savvy groups with new ideologies such as identity politics. This comes as the Government looks to build international action to counter hate speech and extremism on the internet and social media. Anjum Rahman is a spokesperson for the Islamic Women's Council.
