Pike River Mine re-entry: First steps inside

After multiple obstacles and delays, the first steps in a $36 million plan to explore the 2.3 kilometre-long entry tunnel at the Pike River Mine have been taken. Families of victims were emotional yesterday after a three-person team entered the mine to begin the search for remains and clues as to what what caused the explosion which killed 29 men in 2010. Tracey Keane-Harvey, whose son Riki died in the disaster, hopes for justice. Dave Gawn is chief executive of the Pike River Recovery Agency. He talks to Corin Dann.
