British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has called Donald Trump's public criticism of the UK's ambassador to the United States as "disrespectful and wrong."
On Twitter Mr Trump described Sir Kim Darroch as 'wacky and a very stupid guy'.
He also went after UK Prime Minister Theresa May - again - describing her approach to Brexit as foolish and a disaster.
