UK-based Australian musician Nick Cave and his wife Susie Bick have visited a children's grief workshop while in New Zealand for Cave's Q+A sessions and performances in Wellington and Auckland.

Cloud Workshops NZ – an organisation that runs art sessions for bereaved children, has posted on Instagram saying that Nick Cave dropped into one of their workshops yesterday.
Cave’s wife Susie Bick was also at the session, posting a photo of her and one of the children.
Cave and Bick’s 15-year-old son Arthur died tragically in 2015 after falling from a cliff in Brighton, UK.
Cave spoke to the Guardian in 2017 about his grief, saying, “There’s no way to navigate it. It just sits there and it fills up all the space.
"It fills up your body. It’s like a physical thing. You can feel it pressing against the insides of your fingers. There’s just no room for the luxury of creation.”
Cloud Workshops NZ was founded in 2008. Each year it runs eight free sessions where children from five to 18 years old spend three-and-a-half hours making art.
Founder Deborah Smith told the Pantograph Punch in 2017 she wanted to create “a constructive project about death”.
Nick Cave hosts a Q+A and performance at the Auckland Town Hall tonight from 7pm.
