Here’s your first look at the latest single and video from music and life partners Anna Coddington and Dick Johnson, aka Clicks.
The couple have been releasing music together since 2016, and ‘Bizzy Living’ is their ninth single.
Both Anna and Dick are musicians in their own right: Anna, an RNZ Music favourite, has forged a successful career as a songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist, and Dick, a UK native, is well-known as a super-talented DJ and producer who started his career at Manchester’s legendary nightclub The Hacienda.
The pair say their new song is “a celebration of human diversity and the joy of doing your own thing in the face of an ever-intensifying stream of information about what everyone else is doing”.
“Bizzy Living is a note-to-self that the most productive and positive mindset is to stay focused on living your own life, your own way and to let others do the same.”
For the video, the pair enlisted long-time collaborator Owen Watts of animated video creators The Makers' Initiative.
