Singer, songwriter, guitarist and part-time movie actor Marlon Williams has had a stellar career to date. He's released three albums, won numerous awards, made international TV appearances, and even starred alongside Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in the feature film A Star Is Born.

Marlon has a long association with fellow southern troubadour Delaney Davidson, including performing a duet for the You Are Us/Aroha Nui charity concert following the Christchurch mosque attacks in 2019. Here they play 'Little Heart', 'Heaven For You, Prison For Me', ’Get on Your Knees and Pray’ and 'The Trail of Broken Hearts' together for NZ Live in 2012.

Marlon Williams first came to our attention singing with early alt-country band The Unfaithful Ways who formed in 2007. They won Best Song in the 2008 Smokefree Rockquest, released their first EP in 2009, which is when we recorded this session, and followed up with an album ‘Free Rein’ in 2011.
