9:10 Viking Kayak's Matamata factory burns down

A beloved Kayak business was destroyed over the weekend, when a fire ripped through their Matamata factory.

Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the business in Firth St about 8.45pm on Saturday.

Investigators are still putting together the pieces about how it started, but Viking Kayaks owner, Grant Montague joins Jesse to talk about what it means for the business.

They've set up a givealittle here to help them get back up and running.
