The Panel with Peter McKenzie and Susan Hornsby-Geluk (Part 1)

From The Panel, 4:03 pm on 26 March 2019

There has been a call for global support among advertisers to pile the pressure on social media companies to change their media streaming polices. The association of New Zealand advertisers and the Commerical communications council have written an open letter calling for an "immediate changes to the security of its live streaming platform". We talk to Duncan Greive from The Spinoff about Facebook's silence in the wake of this pressure. A piece on Stuff about the cultural difference between the US and NZ when it comes to pies. It tells the story of a kiwi couple who set up a meat pie business in Colorado, and after 5 years seems to be going well for them, despite the fact that most Americans prefer sweet pies. We ask Caroline Bruner, who works in New Zealand but is from the USA, whether she's converted to the mince and cheese.
