E-books disappearing even if you've bought them

When is something you buy not really something you own? When it's an e-book. Microsoft is closing its ebooks store later this month and when it does all the books you've bought will cease to work. It's all because of copyright laws, but it's giving you some warning so you can finish reading them before they disappear from your virtual library. And you get a refund.
