One person is dead after a fire at a block of flats in the Auckland suburb of Mount Roskill late last night.
The Fire Service said the end flat in a block of four caught fire just before midnight, but adjoining properties were not affected.
One of three crews sent to the Rainford St address is still at the scene monitoring hotspots.
Police are investigating the blaze.
