A steel company is refusing to say if it will take further action against what it claims is China subsidising and dumping steel in this country.
The High Court this week quashed a government decision not to impose duties on Chinese galvanised steel coil imports after an investigation found minimal subsidisation was going on.
Australian-owned and Glenbrook-based New Zealand Steel triggered that official investigation and sought the judicial review of the Minister's decision.
The company said it welcomed the court's ruling and looked forward to continuing engagement with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
MBIE, which led the inquiry, is remaining tight lipped.
