Kiwi rapper Scribe has escaped prison time for charges of wilful damage and breaching protection orders.

The 39-year-old singer, who's real name is Malo Ioane Luafutu, appeared in the Christchurch District Court today.
The singer pleaded guilty to entering a property and breaching protection orders in May and June this year.
Some other domestic violence charges were dropped.
The case was heavily suppressed.
The singer was sentenced to six months supervision and must undergo counselling and treatment to help with drug issues.
Judge Thomas Gilbert said that sentence was the best way to move forward for the signer and his family.
Visibly emotional in court, Luafutu thanked the judge and indicated he was on the road to recovery.
His lawyer, Liz Bulger, told the court her client was interested to get involved with the anti-drugs movement.
Luafutu would be sentenced on drugs charges in April.
