Police are investigating after shots were fired at two properties in South Auckland overnight.
Officers were told about 9.45pm that shots had been fired at a house on Tyrone Street in Ōtara.
No one inside the house was injured, and the offender fled in a vehicle.
Police say a property on Idlewild Avenue in Māngere was also shot at around 1.30am Thursday morning.
The shots struck the front door and windows, but no one was injured.
Police were working to determine if the two shootings were linked.
