A body has been found on the beach in Beachlands on Tuesday morning, police say.
Police said a member of the public notified them of a body on the sand, near Green Bay Reserve, about 7.22am.
An investigation into the circumstances of the death is underway.
At this stage, police are treating it as unexplained.
"A scene examination is underway and we ask that people avoid the area while this is ongoing," police said.
