The Crusaders led from start to finish to beat the Chiefs 37-26 in Christchurch

The Super Rugby Pacific try-fest was the Crusaders' first win of the season.

With eight points separating the teams on the scoreboard in the tense final 10 minutes, the Crusaders converted a late penalty to rediscover their winning form.

Veteran Johnny McNicholl scored two of their five tries.

Heading into the clash in Christchurch the defending champions had lost five straight games.
