If you struggled to get back into your office-ready kit today, spare a thought for the stars and stylists of Hollywood, who have had to spruce up quick for the 81st Golden Globes taking place in Beverly Hills.
The Globes, which are the first major red carpet event of 2024, are generally thought to be a more relaxed affair than the Oscars. The awards have had a mixed past (in 2021, the whole shindig was cancelled when the lack of diversity on the judging panel was exposed), but that seems to have been brushed under the scarlet carpet.
